WHAT WOULD HAPPEN?
The move of the out-of-work .slaughtermen to secure re-registration is unique in its way. But what would happen supposing the free labourers who arc manning the works in Poverty Bay, Hawke's Bay, and elsewhere, apply for registration as an amion, and ask for an award ? Would they not bo more- entitled to registration than those who are out ol" employment? And if they applied for an ftwjn<rd, would not this be binding upon all other unions? This is a point that lia.s probably already occurred to those' who have gone to work.
