(liy Telegraph — Press Association.) FEILDING, Last Night. The Feilding A. and P. show opened to-day, with very numerous outvies in the -stock classes. In draught horses, Mr K. Short was the principle winner, also in fat cattle and Hereford cattle. Mr T. If. Calpman was tlio most successful exhibitor in Ayrshircs; Mr S. R. Lancaster in Jerseys, Mr J. Liggins in Holstems, and Mr S. 11. Lancaster in dairy cattle. Fat -sheep were very well ■supported, Hie prizes being well.distributed. In Romneys (purebreds) the prizes were divided between Messrs J. K. Heath. A. L. Wheeler, Rand, Gray and W. Gibson. In Border Leieesters Mr J. Dowthwaito was most 'successful, in English Leieesters Mr S. R. Lancaster, ami in Southdowns Messrs J. Knight and Nelson Bros. The maiden hunters' competition was won by Mr J. Bryee's Shamrock, with Mr E. Bun-ell's. Gay Boy second. The high juini> fell to Mr E. Bnrrell's Gay ■lloy . (fift Gin). Tn steeplechase style, Mr E. E. Lcvett's Reckless was first, and Mr H. Hawaii's .. Mickey Fvu?. second. The. weather promises well for to-morrow.
