WEDDING.
SMITH - MIGEELL. At St. Matthew's Cirureh, . Masterton, yesteitfey, the wedding was celebrated of Mr Alan Percy Smith; eldest son of Mrs J. Smith, of Olarevile, to Miss Annie Mitchell, daughter of Mr and Mrs T. B. Michell, of Masterton. The bride, who was given away by her Fanner, was attired in, a pretty dress of cream eatin with silk insertion and pearl trimmings. She also wore, the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Miss Alice Michel! and Misa BeJle McPherson. They were prettily attired in white satin 'striped ninon and b.!ack picture hats. Mr W. Better was best mans, and Mr E. Greathead was groomsman. A reception was afterwards held nt'the residence of the bride's parents, when the usual toasts were honoured and congraltulatory speeches made. Mr and Mrs Smith left by the rf ternoon train for Wellington en route to Nelson', where the honeymoon will be spent.
The bride's travelling dress was :i navy blue tailor-made costume with a blue hat with black wings.
