Messrs Dalgety and Co,, Ltd., report on their Elcetahuna sale held on Friday, April 15th, as follows—Owing to the very roughjvveather entries did not come in up to advertised numbers, consequently the yarding was small. What was yarded sold well, and we have to report a good sale, making a total clearance. We quote: —Two and four-tooth wethers, 12s lOd to 33s Id; two-tooth wethers, 12s 6d, 12s lOd to 13s: mixed lambs to 8s 3d; small two-tooth ewes, 9s Bd. Cattle: Mixed weaners, 365; horses sold from £5 to £9 10s for hack*;*harness horses failed to find purchasers^
