LONDON WOOL SALES.

By Telegraph—Press Association. < Received March 29, 8 a.m. LONDON, March 28. The wool sales included the following clips:—Oringi Wakatai, 7|d; Maxwellton, 22§d. At the wool sales just closed, 187,000 bales were offered, of which 95,000 were sold for the home, market, 69,000 for the Continent,'ii! d 18,000 for the American, while 12,500 were held over. Compared with the closing rates of the February series, an improvement took place. Greasy merinos advanced 5 per cent,, medium 10 per cent., in ferior 7& to 10 per ".ent., super ior scoured to 10 per cent., medium, inferior, and all fine half-breds 10 to 15 per cent., medium crossbreds 5 to per cent., coarse 5 per cent., and all lambs' wool 5 to 7£ per cent.
