PLAGUE IN SYDNEY.
Received March 9, 12.15 a.m. SYDNEY, March 8. One of the Arab crew of the French steamer St. Louis, from Vila, which arrived on Sunday, was discovered to-day suffering from plague. The steamer has been removed from-the wharf to the quarantine station. Received March 9, 12.30 a.m. SYDNEY, March 8. Another case of plague is reported to-day, the patient being a man working in a flourmill in Goulbourn street. It is stated that dead rats have been found oi: the premises for some time.
