AN AVALANCHE.
TROOPS OVERWHELMED.

VIENNA, March 2
An avalanche, near the Brenner Pass, in the Hohe Tauern Alps, overwhelmed an Austrian detachment of troops consisting of six officers and 25 men. Troop 3 have been sent to endeavour to extricate them.
