The Frozen Meat Trade Association's Smithfield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meats are based on actual sales of not less than 100 quarters of mutton or lamb or 25 quarters of beef of fair average quality. Australian Beef. —Prices unchanged. River Plate Sheep.—Heavy, 2£d; light, 3d. River Plate Lambs. —Unchanged. Wheat.—Cargoes of Australian sold at prices ranging from 39s to 40s. Rabbits. —Market firm and prices unchanged. There is good demand, owing to a shortage in English. At the rabbitskins auctions, 1,479 bales were offered and 1,200 sold. Light summer declined by Id to 2d.
