At a meeting of St. Matthew's Church Vestry, last evening, the resignation of Mr W. H. Robins, who has acted as Verger for 30J years, was accepted with great regret. It was resolved to hold a meeting of the parishioners at which Mr Robins' services to the church will be suitably recognised. At Knox Church, yesterday, Mr R. G. Guy, of the Bank of New South Wales, Wellington, was married to Miss .x Annie Kennedy, youngest dau<?L A of the late Mr D. Kennedy, manager of Tupurupuru station. Miss Wheeler, of Wellington, was the bridesmaid, and Mr Kennedy, brother of the bride, was best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. T. Thompson. A reception was subsequently held at the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs A. lorns. The newly-wedded couple left for the north by the midday train on their honeymton tour.
