ARBITRATION COURT AWARDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, October 31. The awards made by the Arbitration Court in the various industrial disputes that have been before them wer a fixed to-day. Several increases are provided, the most notable being in the case of engineers. Firstclass workmen are to receive Is 4{d per hour or ljd more than formerly, while the rate for second-class men has been advanced to Is 3d. The rate for journeymen carpenters has been raised from £2 lis to £2 15s and-the men's demands in the stonemasons' dispute for Is 6d per hour have also been granted.
