SHIPPING MATTERS.
r Received November 6,11.56 p.m. LONDON, November 6. The shipowners have agreed to Mr Lloyd George appointing the marine superintendents and staffs, oonditional on the shipowners being represented Board of Trade's advisory committee, to which all important questions affecting shipping will be referred. It is understood that the Government will oppose Mr Havelock Wilson's proposals to abolish looal marine boards. -
