ALLEGED ILLICIT DIAMONDS. Reoeived September 14, 8.55 a.m. CAPETOWN, September 13. Regarding t|pe objects of the steamer Xema, the vessel chartered by the London syndicate to s n aroh for the diamonds on a treasure island off the coast of Africa, it is rumoured at Capetown that a quantity of illicit Kimberley diamonds is Btored at Mercury Island.
