RUAMAHANGA SUSPENSION BRIDGE.

CONTROL VESTED IN THE COUNTY COUiNCIL. Mr W. G. Beard, solioitor of Masterton, wrote to the Masterton County Council, yesterday, stating tbat the Chief Engineer of Roads had notified him that the control of the Ruamahanga Suspension Bridge had been vested in the Masterton County Council, and that the oost of maintaining the same had baen apportioned m equal paits between the Masterton and Mauriceville County Councils.
