Received September 13, 9.3 p.m. LONDON, September 13. Speaking at a meeting of the Associated Chambers of Commerae at Bristol, Sir W. H. F Hollana, who presided, deolared that irade was in a prosperous noudition. The attitude of the Government towards the Association was very sympathetic. The Government were willing to receive suggestions for legislation which would prove benbfloial to the trade, and were willing to assist in the carrying in the autumn of a Limited Partnerships Bill which equally interested capital and labour. The Association, while warmly sympathising with the desire for a larger Imperial trude, resolved, by a large majority, that it was unable to recommerid a departure from freetrade in the absenoe of practical proposals, but welcomed an Imperial Conference to oqnsider the subjeot.
