MR LESLIE HARRIS.
Speaking of Mr Leslie Harris, the Society Entertaiuor, a Sydney paper, says:—Mr Leslie Harris in the earlier part of his programme, fairly captureß bis audiouce from the start. He has all the attributes of a firstclass entertainer, a good natural voice of his own, and, in addition, a power of mimicry of bass, soprano, and tenor which comes in splendidly in the humourous musical fcketches, whioh delight his hearers. He has a fund of humour, and is a born racontour. He is equally appreciated in his musical illustrations (such as that Bhowing the possibilities of a melody by altering time and treatment, the well-known "Honeysuckle and the Bee" becoming in turn a «?acred melody, a selection from Mendelssohn, Chopin, and Wagner). The support rendered to him by Miss Roaina Buckmann, the popular New Zealand dramatic soprano will be simply a revelation of vooalism. The season is only for two nights, oommenuing next Monday, and the box plan is at Miss Rive's; no early doors and no day sales.
