GRAIN AND PRODUCT RTPORT. DALGETY & CO., LTD., -oport as follows : Oats—There is not much life in the market. Apart from tho demand for seed varieties, business during the past week has been limited to local feed requirements, shippers not being prepared to operate at the prices asked by growers. We quote—Prime milling 4s 3d to 4s 4d, good to best feed 4s to 4s 2d, medium to good 3s 9d to 4s, light and inferior from 3s 3d per bushel (sacks extra). > i Wheat.—Very little milling wheat of foring. All lines in good condition arc accepted by millers at maximum rates. Fowl wheat is in fair demand at from Cs to (is 2d for best. Potatoes.—Tho market remains firm. Consignments have not been heavy during the past week, and all coming forward have met ready sale on arrival at quotations. Best freshly picked linos arc in most request. There has also been a good enquiry for well graded samples of seed which are not plentiful We quote—Best freshly picked tables £lO to £lO 10s, medium to good ( £9 to £9 15s, others from £8 per ton (sacks in). market has been steadily supplied during the past week and the. demand is not quite bo strong. Buyers are showing • preference for bright heavy oaten sheaf, medium and inferior samples being more difficult to quit at late.rates. We quote—Best oaten .sheaf £7 5s to £7 10s, medium to good £6 10s to £7 ss, light and inferior from £5 per ton (sacks extra)f
