THE DREAM FIRE.
A lire thai did considerable damage 111 a block of buildings in the vicinity of King and Sussex Streets early mi January '2ii was discovered under strange circumstances. The damaged building is situated at ihe rear of the Montana Hotel, which has a frontage to King Street. A young lady eniployeo, who was sleeping on the ground lioor of the hotel, dreamt that the building at the back was on fire. "It was so realistic, my dream," she told a 'Daily Telegraph' reporter, "that I was afraid to go off to sleep again. 1 lay still for a few minutes, but 1 was restless, and could not go to sleep again. The realness of my dream had i roused me. "At last 1 could stand it no longer, so I slipped on some things and went along the passage that leads out into a cartway at the side of the hotel, from where a view of the building at the back is obtainable. I opened the door and saw that the place was a mass of names and smoke."
