GOLF.
The local Golf Club ofli.-iallv opened their new clubhouse on Wednesday afternoon when, the weather being line, there was an attendance of about 50 members on the links. After a mixed foursome had been plaved afternoon tea was served by the ladies and a felicitous speech declaring the new building open made bv the president (Mr Moore).
On Wedncsdav a stroke competition will bo played for clubs prc-eiited by Mr •!amirs McAra. Handicaps will be posted at the clubhouse.
