CONCERT AT WAITAHUNA.

(Own Correspondent.) The annual concert in connection with the Waitalnma Horticultural Society was held in Carmody's Hall on Wednesday,3lst July. There was a large attendance of tho publ.k and -,\ very (food programme was submitted, the whole being carried through enlirely by local talent. All the items were well received, some oi tho singers showing considerable improvement since their last appearance. The chief attraction was the larcr given u t tile close, some ol the actors doing their'part remarkably well. Mr I'enncll, the President of the Society, presided, and thanked the audience and the performers. The following is tho programme : Selections, Hand ; song, Miss Harrison; song.
