A capital assortment of tiling claimed the interest and attention of a largo audience at the Town) Hall on Wednesday evening. Dramas, well told, with here and there a note ot tragedy or a touch of realism, comic studies that created much merriment, and some magnificent seeivii'. pictures ■went to make up a programme that was well worth seeing. Next Wednesday evening a programme of more than ordinary interest will be soreenedl The star picture will be a beauti-fully-colourad film depicting " The Siege ol Calais," produced by th<> celebrated >Pait.h« I'reves Co. Nr.i fewer than 2500 men and horses take part in tlie scenes to be presented, which deal with the whole incidents of the ton months' siege. The picture is magniffc'ently produced, the beautiful colouring and the historical costumes worn iby those taking part m'aking a splendid show. The programme will include " The National Hunt Steeplechase," " The Inner Mind," a Selie masterpiece, and the usual high-olass comedv and comic pictures.
