TUAPEKA DOMAIN BOARD.
The mointilily meeting of the Tuapeka Domain Board was held in the Town Hall on Friday, April 16th, 1909. Present-Messrs B. H. Wirni (chairman), J. Thompson, D. Mclntosh, .G. Jeffery, and J. C. Brotwne. An apology was received from Mr H. H. Leary. A donation "of bulbs and plants for the Eeservoir Hill was received from Mr-H. Hart and aclcnowledged with ihanks
The Works Committee reported having accepted the tender of John Caskie for cutting . and stacking timber on the racecourse reserve : also having repaired fences and grabbed broom on Reservoir Hill reserve by day labour. — On the motion of Messrs Thompson and Jeffery, the action of the Works Committee was approved.
It was rosolved that the Chairm&n and Mr Melntosh interview the Sto«k Inspector to* negotiate for the removal of the broom between the railway and Board's property.
The Works Committee wore instructed to enquire and report on the cost and advisability of wire-netting the whole of the Reservoir Rill reserve.
