A rule nisi for a writ of prohibition has been granted to the agents of the Prinz Regent Laitpold ia connection with the customs seal. breaking case, on the grounds- that the information disclosed that no offence had been committed, and that by the express wording of the Commonwealth Act, the defendants were exempt from its operations, and from the operations of any laws passed by the Commonwealth. The hearing has been fixed for February 10.
