TENNIS CLUB FOR WAITAHUNA.
A meeting of the newly-formed Tennis Club was held in tbe ante-room of the Good Templars' Hall ou Friday last, September 27th ; Mr Murray in the chair.
Miss Wall (acting-secretary) read the minutes of last meeting which were confirmed on the motion of Mr A. Wilson, seconded by Miss K. Wall. Apologies were read from Miss M'Ara (secretary") and Miss Goopor for : non-attendance. On the motion of Mr T. M'Kenzie, seconded by Miss ft. Scott, it was resolved tbat in the meantime tbe question of the fence spoken of at last meeting be left over and that Ino unnecessary expense be entered into until tbe clnb see its way clear to carry out the first arrangements regarding tbe tennis court; After some discussion it was proposed by Mr A. Wilson, seconded by Mr A. Bartlett and unanimously agreed to : " 'I hat the entrance fee to join the club be 2a 6d." On the motion of Misa Tottie Ryan, seconded bj Mr T. M'Kenzie, Miss K. Scott and Miss Auld were appointed collectors.
