WEEKLY MARKET REPORT.
Messrs Moeitzson and Hopkin, millers, s;rain, produce, and com agents, Manse-street, Dunedin, report:— Wheat. — Millers are only operating from hand to mouth, expecting lower prices on arrival of new orop. Fowl wheat: Broken, from Is lOd to 2s 2d ; whole, 2s 6d to 3s per bushel.
Oats.— Heavy bright feed we placed at Is 9d per bushel.
Flour.— Roller, £9 10a ; 50's, £10 ; 25's, £10 5s per ton. Southern stone, £9 ; 60's, £9 10s.
Oatmeal.— £B 10a in 25'« packed in sacks ; in bulk £8 per ton.
Bran.— £2 ss. Sharps.— £3 ss. Barley. — Colonial in short supply from 4s to 4s 3d ; Oalifornian, 5s per bushel (landed). Potatoes.— Kidneys are soarce this week— 55s to 60s per ton.
Chaff. — 50s to 55a per ton. Bags returnable.
Straw.— Hydraulic pressed, in trusses, 40s per ton.
Butter.— Market unsettled for salt, with little demand ; fresh ditto storekeepers', 3d to 4d per lb.
Cheese. — 3d to 4d per lb, 7lb loaves in good demand. Eggs in short supply, with a good demand.
