Sir,— l notioe a plot of ground on the west tide of the Presbytarian Church at Liwrence completely covered with docks, which will eventually become a nuisance to the neighbourhood, to any nothing of their unsigh'liness. There should be a borough by-kw compelling owners of propsrty to eradicate tuoh nuisanoes. If th« ground belongs to an absentee, it could be cleaned at the owner's expense. If he is a resident, he should be ashamed of himse f for allowing such a state of things to exist to the annoyance of his fellow townsmen, and should be prosecuted. There are other places in Lawrence where a similar nuisance exists, bnt the first referred to can give them points, and is a standing disgrace to the owner of the land, or person having charge of it. — I am, 4c., HOBTICULTUBiI,
