DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET.
Wheat. — The market is rery firm at 3s 5d to 3s 6d for prime milling. Very choice would bring a still higher rate ; medium brings 3s 4(3 to 3s 5d ; inferior, 2s 6d to 3s 3d. Oats.— The market for this continues firm, with an upward tendency ; but this is mainly owing to none coming forward and the small stocks held here being in few hands. Sellers in the meantime command the situation ; 2s 4d has been refused for prime milling, and 2* 2d to 2s 3d has been paid for good bright feed and milling ; but as these prices are about equal to present prices in Australia, there is not much business passing. Barley. — C?he market is quiet, aud no sales of any importance transpiring beyond a few lots for feeding and mil'iug at from 2s to 2s 6d ; malting is held for 3s 9d to 4s.
