WARDEN'S COURT, LAWRENCE.

The following business was brought before W. H. Revell, Esq., at the Warden's Court, yesterday :— The application of Hanoock Bros, for a water-race was granted, subject to the notices being produced within fourteen days. On the application of Samuel Johnston and others for special site for stacking tailings, objeoted to by Mr M'Coy on behalf of the manager of the Tailings Co., which was adjourned from last Court-day in order to allow the Warden to visit the ground, the Warden stated that he visited the ground, but did not see either party. He was shown the ground applied for ; there was nothing to prevent the applicants from running tailings over the ground, but as the ground is in a line with the objeotors' workings, and probably auriferous, the application would be refused.

Henry Brooks applied for a dam and reservoir at Waipori. — Refused : No appearance of applicant.

David Buqhanau applied for protection for two months for an extended claim at Tuapeka Mouth. — Refussd ; no appearance of applicant. M. Gairon v. CaUanan and others. —Decision deferred till next Court-day.
