HEBIOT.
The annual statutory meeting of householders for the election of a School Committee was held in the school house on Monday evening. Mr W. M'Kay was voted to the chair. The minutes of last annual meeting were confirmed . The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The latter showed the state of the finances to be as follows : — Receipts during the year, £22 3s 4d ; expenditure, £13 6s— balance, £8 17s 4d. The gentlemen elected to the new School Committee were — Messrs W. M'Kay, Chas. Kerse, J. Lomas, A. F. M'Kenzie, A. Currie, A. M'Lean, and A. M'Kenzie.
