LAND BOARD.
The ordinary meeting of the Land Board, held on Wednesday, was attended by Messrs Maitland (Chief Commissioner), M'Kenzie, M.H.R., Bradshaw, M.H.R., Duncan, Green, and Clark.
TABLE HILL.
W. tt. Moore, licensee of pastoral deferred-payment sections 10, block viii., and 1, block ix. , Table Hill, asked that the Board would take the step contemplated — viz. , to forfeit his license for non-payment of rent, as he had not been able to dispose of his interest in the sections. — License forfeited accordingly ; Ranger Hughan to value the improvements.
WAIKAIA.
On the application of Mr Pyke, M.H.R., a concession with regard to the payment of saw-mill licenses recently issued at Waikaia was made. — It was shown that the bush would not be accessible for some time, and it was agreed that one year's rent instead of three years', as usual, should be paid in advance, the remaining two years' rent to be paid in advance at the expiry of the first year.
DEFERRED PAYMENT IEASE.
Ebenezer Jackson was granted the right to purchase under deferred - payment section 3, block i, Waitahuna East.
