DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET.

Mr L. Maclean reports:— Wheat: During the week I have sold 1000 sacks Northern wheat at from 3s 9d to 4s per bushel, bags weighed in. Oats are inquired for, but at the present time the market is bare. Quotations: Milling, 2s to 2* 2d ; feed, 2s to 2s Id. Messrs Stbphbnson and Co. report:— Wheat : Prime milling we quote at 3a 9d to 3s 10d, bagi included. Oats : None in the market at present, and many inquiries for shipping purposes, bright milling being worth 2s Id to 2s 2d per bushel ; bright feed, Is lid to 2s— bags included. Messrs Donald Rsid and Co. report:— Wheat :- The late unseasonable weather has stopped harvest operations, and as very little grain has yet been threshed, the week's arrivals haye been scarcely sufficient to meet local requirements, and as there is some demand for export, prices are firm. Oats : We quote milling, bags extra, 2s ; bags included, 2s Id to 2s 2d ; good feed, Is lOd to 2s. Mr Donald Stbonach reports :— Wheat : There is no demand for shipment, and millets being supplied for the time being, they ate now offering less money— 3s 9d to 3s lOJd for choice velvet, bags included. Oats : The market is bare of all sorts, and with a strong demand existing both for shipping and local requirements, any coming forward could be easily placed nt an advance on last week's quotations. Messrs Weight, Sxkphenson, ass Co. report :— -Wheat : We quote prime milling, Tuscan and velvet, at from 3s lOd to 3s lid per bushel (bags in) ; medium,, 3s 6d to,3s 9d } and fowls' wheat, 2s 3d to 2s 9d. Oats : There is at present a brisk export demand, but prices manifest no improvement.
