Auckland, November 24th. The body of John Morgan, gumdigger, who was drowned by the capsizing of a boat on the North'rn Wairoa on the 13th, has been recovered. Tho boly of his mate, Webb, is not yet found. The Auckland Bowling Club's season opened to-day, when the prize cups of the past season were presented to the winners, Messrs A. E. M'Kechnie (skip), E. P. Pas;e, H. R. George, and Captain J. M'Kenzie.
