(lieuters' Special. ) Melbourne, November 24th.

The Hon. James Francis, who has been in bad health for some time past, has suffered a relapse, and his condition is again very critical.

The Agent-general for Victoria in London has tel egraphed to the Government that the French Cabinet have decided to proceed with the Transportation of Criminals Bill, notwithstanding the recent rejection by the Senate of the principal clauses. Sydney, November 24tb.

News has been received that six Frenchmen have been landed at Bellina, on the coast of Jbhis Colony. They are believe I to be escapees from New Caledonia.
