The "Daily Times " of Monday reports :— In the grain market the position of things has not changed. Prime milling wheat fliulg purchasers ot 43 to 43 Id per bushel for red straw, and 4s 2d for white velvet, a vory choice sample of the latter fetching 4s 3d por bushel. Medium qualities are in largo supply, and, although not at present much inquired for, good lines are quitted at 3s 6<\ to 3s 9d por bushel. Fine parcels of oals arc being purchased a little freely, allhough thoro is not much inducement to ship at the moment. Prime milling are placed at Is lOd p»r bushel, bright fe=d at Is 8d to Is 9d por bushel, and ordinary at Is 6d to Is 7d per bushel. Prime malting barley is the only description saleable, and for such samples as give satisfaction 4s 3d to 4s 6d is obtainable. Of millers' produce, town flour sells at £10 10s per ton, and country at a saade less. Oatmeal is placed at £11 to £11 10a per ton. Pearl barley is quoted at £21 to £22 per ton, and pollard at £4 10a to £5 per ton.
