Buyers are extremely diffident as to making purchases in almost any lines of produce offering, while sellers are equally disinclined to accept the prices offered. Wheat.— Tuscan, sound and fit for shipment, 4s 3d to 4s 4d per bushel, f.0.b. ; other wheats, 4s 2d to 4s 3d per bushel, f.o.b. ; second* class sample?, 3s 3d to 8s 8d per bushel according to condition and quality; chick wheat, 2s 3d to 2s 9d per bushel, delivered in Christchurch. Oats.— Bright milling quality, 2s to 2s lid per bushel, f.o.b. j long oats (feed), Is 8d to Is lid per bushel, f.o.b. or Christchurch.
