ABDBOSSAN-STBEET. Cr M'lntosh Baid there was a small matter he wished to draw attention to. While passing along Ardrossan-street that day, he had observed that a large hole was being dug, and, on his questioning, the party informed him that they had received authority for doing the work. He had no wish to deter any one in their work, but as there was a great deal of traffic on this street he considered it very dangerous. — Some discussion ensued on the subject, and eventually the attention of the Public Works Committee was drawn to the works in question. There being no further business, the rough minutes were read and the Council rose.
