NEWS FROM THE PORT.
New Courtroom Will be Ready in July. A start will be made to-day with the transference of the fittings and furniture from the old courthouse above the council chamber to the new premises above the post office. It is expected that the new room will be in use during the first week in July. 1 Plunket Society. The annual meeting of the Lyttelton Plunket Society will be held on Tuesday afternoon, July 9 at 2.30 p.m. at the Y.W.C.A. Hall. After the meeting an address will be delivered by Dr Martin Tweed, medical adviser to the Dominion Council, on research results from Plunket work. Personal. Mr IT. Fletcher, works manager for the Lyttelton Harbour Board, left for Napier last evening.
