Dear Sir, —Would you kindly inform the public of Christchurch that all unemployed on sustenance have not been offered work on the River Trust. I am on sustenance and have applied twice at the bureau and once at the trust office, and am told no single men on sustenance are being taken on, as the job is for married three-day men So 1 hope that the misrepresentation of all willing single men on sustenance will be removed.—l am, etc., SUSTENANCE AND SINGLE.
