McGrath (Australia) beat Goldschmidt (France) 7-5, 14-12, 6-2. A. Quist (Australia) beat A. Gentien (France) 6-1, 6-2, 6-0. J. Crawford (Australia) beat Geelhand 6-2, 6-2, 6-0. Third Round. G. von Cramm (Germany) beat Wilde 6-1. 6-4, 6-4. F. J. Perrv (England) beat Maier (Spain) 6-2, 6-4. 6-2. Ilecht beat Kirby, 6-1, 6-0, 10-8. Boussus beat Denker, 6-2, 6-0, 6-1. Women’s Singles. First Round. S. Pannetier (France) beat Miss K. Stammers 6-3, 6-4. Mile. Pannetier is ranked as seventh French woman player Second Round. Mile. Sperling (France) beat Mrs Hopman (Australia) 6-0, 6-3.
