OVERSEAS STUDENTS
LONDON. May 27. “ The Times,” in a leading article, commenting on a letter signed by Sir Stephen Killik (Lord Mayor of London), Mr S. M. Bruce (Australian High Commissioner), Sir James Parr (New Zealand High Commissioner) and others, urging encouragement of the widest activities of London House as a collegiate centre for overseas students, says: “ London House has already given 57 men the benefits of collegiate life.’ It points out that the hall and other buildings lequired £20,000, which was promised conditionally upon the subscription of £30,000, and urges that donations should be made in order to promote personal partnership in an indispensable community.
