N.Z. ALPINE CLUB
Per -s Association. . WELLINGTON, May 27. At the annual general meeting of the New Zealand Alpine Club, held on Saturday, Mr G. E. Mannering, one of the two surviving foundation members of the club, was elected a life member. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year-*— President, Mr H. F. Wright; vice-presidents, Messrs J. W. Aitken, R. Syrjle, J. Scott Thomson and S. A. Wiren; committee, Messrs H. W. Cormack, R. Ellis, A. P. Harper, J. D. Knowles. A. J. Scott and P. Weenink: honorary treasurer, Mr J. W. Petherick; honorary secretary. Mr J. S. Shanks; honorary auditor, Mr C. McAllister.
