PRICES INCREASED.
Tyres for Motor-cars and Motor-cycles. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, This Day. The retail prices of motor-car and motor-cycle tyres, with few exceptions, have been increased by an average of 10 per cent as from yesterday. No definite reason was obtained on inquiry, but it was stated that it was known factory costs had been increasing owing to the increased price ruling; for raw material, both rubber and cotton.
