MUCH COURT BUSINESS.
As has been the case in Christchurch for some time, there still remains much business to be dealt with by the Supreme Court. Mr Justice Northcroft, successor to Mr Justice Johnston as resident Judge in Christchurch, has been kept very busy since his arrival here last week and he will leave for the West Coast on Saturday to preside over a short but heavy session there. It is thought that on his Honor’s return to Christchurch there will be sufficient work to take up the time of the Supreme Court until the opening of the next criminal session on July 30.
