WELCOME HOME PARTY.
Mr and Mrs A. A. Macfarlane, who returned recently from Canada and are tow living in Christchurch, were welcomed home on Saturday evening at North Canterbury, when Mr and Mrs G. Leslie Rutherford, Macdonald Downs, gave a buffet dinner party in their honour. The guests were:—Mr and Mrs A. A. Macfarlane, Mrs P. J. Overton, Mr and Mrs Maurice Macfarlane. Mr and Mrs Paul Thomson, Mr and Mrs Colin Deans, Mr and Mrs P. R. Dearden and Miss Burt. Mr and Mrs B. L. Blunden and Miss Nancy Blunden. Mr and Mrs James Macfarlane, Mr and Mrs George Reid. Miss K. Polhill. Miss Patricia Courage, Mr Charles Macfarlane, Dr R Blunden, Messrs W. Overton, H. Bethell, R. Bethell and J. Courage.
