POWER BOATING.
Tuatea Wins Kennett Cup Event. The annual race for the Kennett Cup for motor-boats, arranged by the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club, was held on Saturday afternoon, the course being from Lyttelton to Port Levy. Tuatea (6min) was the winner. Pacific (6min) being second. A considerable sea was running, and the trip to Port Levy was fairly rough. There were eight starters.
