Producers Board Report From London. The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated February 10. advising that the following are the approximate average prices realised for the week, based on actual transactions of wholesale quantities of the descrip tions of meat mentioned, and are for representative parcels of the goods offering during the week, being for business done on the basis of delivered to Smithfleld market, and/or ex London stores. (Prices for the two previous weeks are also shown):— Frozen Mutton. Feb Feb Feb 15 8 1
Lamb Market—Feeling strong, competition from other low priced meats and values have again weakened through selling pressure. . Mutton Market—Wethers and ewes also weaker in sympathy with lambs. Beef Market—Trade slow owing to heavier supplies of chilled beef. N.Z. Porker Pigs—Prices easier owing to over supply. Baconer Figs—- [ Slightly easier owing to lower prices [ Continental bacon.
