NAVY LEAGUE.

A meeting of the general committee of the Canterbury branch of the Navy League was held last evening. Canon A. H. Norris presiding. The financial statement showed tnat there had been a fall in the receipts. The credit balance at December 12. 1934, was £7O 6s 9d, and at February 2, 1935, it had dropped to £3.3 5s Id. A letter was received from Captain W. S. F. Macleod. of H.M.A.S. Australia. expressing his thanks for what had been done to entertain the members of fiis crew while at Lyttelton.
