Question of Spending of War Funds. With reference to the Bill introduced into the House of Representatives on Wednesday by the member for Grey Lynn (Mr J. A. Lee) dealing with the expenditure of war funds, it was stated last evening that the Canterbury centre of the Red Cross Society administering war relief funds is not hoarding money, but is expending both capital and income on the purposes for which the fund was established —ektra comforts for ex-servicemen still suffer ing war disabilities under treatment at hospitals and sanatoria in the district
