To-Dai/*s Recipe,

Take!*4oz butter, 4oz caster sugar, 2 eggs, 4oz desiccated coconut, 12oz flour, 1 teaspoonful baking powder, 4 tablespoonfuls milk. Cream the butter and sugar, beat in the eggs, one at a time, sift the flour and baking powder and mix with *the coconut. Stir into the other ingredients, adding enough milk to make a stiff paste. Put in rough pieces on a greased baking, slide and bake in a hot oven for about a quarter of an hour.
