FIVE O’CLOCK PARTY.
Mr and Mrs Harmar Macdonald gave a five o’clock party yesterday at their home in Brenchlev Avenue, in honour of Airs Macdonald’s brother. Lieutenant Norman Quill, of H.M.S. Diomede. Those present w r ere:—Mr and Mrs Guy Cotterill, Mr and Mrs P. Hallows Wood. Mr and Mrs John Moore, Mr and Mrs Geoffrey Wood, Mr and Mrs J. D. Carl, Mr and Mrs Ivan Wood, Mr and Mrs Peter Hall, Mr and Mrs Gordon Coull. Mr and Mrs L. P. Barrett. Miss Meta Nixon. Miss Janet Stevenson, Miss Brigit Gresson. Messrs Owen Hope, Tait and Anthony Lester.
