ACCOUNTANTS MEET.
At' the annual meeting of the Canterbury District Public Accountants’ Association, held at Ballantyne’s tea rooms, Mr W. M. Tyers, president, presided over a fair attendance of members. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr C. H. Perkins; vice-president, Mr J. M. Preston; committee, Messrs P. C. Browne, C. C. Holland, R. L. Hicks and W. M. Tyers; secretary, Mr H. W. Armitage; auditor, Mr H. R. Best. It was left to the incoming committee to arrange for the annual sports day on Monday, March 11, if the date is suitable. Mr W. M. Tyers, the retiring president, was accorded a vote of thanks for his services during the past year.
